Kate Dudding, an award winning local storyteller, will be one of our speakers at the March 7 dinner meeting. Kate will share little known stories about two women: U.S. Congresswoman Martha Griffiths and Marilyn Monroe.
Congresswoman Griffiths worked very hard for women's rights, including getting the Equal Rights Amendment passed by the U.S. House of Representatives in 1970 and by both houses of Congress in 1972.
Learn how Marilyn Monroe changed Ella Fitzgerald's life in 1955 by making a phone call.
Julie Sasso will also speak about "ART on the Rail Trail"
